Construction work poses enormous risk to an operating production facility. Managing and mitigating risk and completing a project on schedule and on budget are huge challenges in the mission critical environment. Acceptable work windows and work control processes that may include coordinating multiple disciplines, occupants, and business units are also important aspects requiring consideration. Given the complexity of the construction process alone, the experience and skill of the construction manager can determine the success of the job.
Testing & Commissioning
Proper installation and Commissioning is essential for Critical Infrastructure availability. Equipment failures or operational malfunctions can be avoided with proper system commissioning, and it’s best to find these issues prior to placing equipment into service. Some systems appear to operate flawlessly until an “event” causes a catastrophic failure, and in most cases such events could have been avoided if proper testing was completed.
Engineering Services

Our “hands on” construction experience with unique infrastructure equipment, special working requirements, project phasing, and our needs assessment process all work to ensure the right solutions for our customers.
Design Build Services
CB Critical Systems provides the same service offered by traditional engineering design then follows through with project and construction management. The Design Build process offers some advantages over the tradition engineering Design-Bid-Build method of project delivery.

CB Critical Systems has involvement with the entire life-cycle of mission critical environments through design, installation, testing / commissioning, and maintenance & service, which A&E firms and contractors simply don't experience. Our breadth and depth of experience with mission critical equipment allows us to provide unmatched construction information and details, which can be seen when comparing our products against others. Our documents routinely contain twice the project specific information and accompanying drawings of others in the industry. Our drawings display all the project requirements including equipment specifications and work phasing instructions.
